Market News
We know perusing the market can stir up the appetite which is why we always try to bring in the best street food in our area. We're thrilled that both Mariachi Mexico and VN Vietnamese Food 2 Go are rejoining us this Saturday to keep you satiated while you load your bags with provisions for the week. You'll need the sustenance to carry those heavy totes!

If you're not familiar, Mariachi Mexicois, in our humble opinion, the best Poblana food north of Puebla. This family-owned Armonk restaurant brings us the the most deceptively simple but exquisite tacos, quesadillas, and other antojitos made with fresh, local ingredients-the way generations of women have made them in their family and all over Puebla. Their food is quite simply, delicious. Not sure how Steven Alvarez overlooked them in his polemic Eater essayin which he assailed the notion that good Mexican food doesn't exist in New York. He's right...it does exist and it's at our Market.

KAS Spiritsalso joins the Market for the first time this season with her honey liquer—handcrafted with local honey and spices. Her motto is "Old World recipe for New World drinks." To that end, try this recipe for a seasonal, refreshing cocktail, inspired by Cocktails & Comedy "Shmoney Bags".

2oz vodka
3/4 oz strawberry-rhubarb syrup
1/2 lime juice
1/2oz Kas Krupnikas
Splash of tonic water

Our new t-shirts are here! We have a range of colors in sizes newborn to adult 2XL. Looking for a bargain? The Barn Sale on the last year's shirts is still going on-all old stock t-shirts are $5 off. All proceeds from market merchandise go right back into sustaining the market and helps to underwrite our weekly egg and apple donation to the Hastings Food Pantry. You can also underwrite this donation by donating directly to the initiative. in the Market Tent-every dollar goes directly towards purchasing produce from a local farmer to give to those members of our community who are food insecure.

See you at the Market!
