Dear Shoppers,

Despite the torrential downpour and early closure, many of you came out to shop and we are grateful for your support. Though the forecast calls for light rain and overcast skies tomorrow, we know that our loyal shoppers won't be deterred by rain clouds. See you at the Market!
MARKET HIGHLIGHTS

We are thrilled to welcome Westchester native Markham Sindeband to the Market. Mark operates Leaf of the East — a farm-to-teacup operation that begins with him traveling to Taiwan every year for the tea harvest and ends with a tea-ceremony like shopping experience in his Market tent back in New York. The tea is grown in gardens with other flowers and plants that provide nutrition to the tea plants and are hand-picked, ensuring freshness. Entering his tent transports you-he brings the same calmness and focus to each transaction as tea masters do to their ceremonies. It is not just a purchase-it is an experience.

It’s Glean on Me time again! Please remember your neighbors in need and buy fresh produce for the folks who use the Hastings Food Pantry. Find the basket at the Market tent. Thank you for your generosity!

Don't forget it's the third Saturday, which means the Knife Sharpener is back! Bring your knives, shears, even lawnmowers—Matt will sharpen them while you shop. While this person would like to remain under the radar, we want to acknowledge the retirement of a LONG-time volunteer and board member. Her tireless work on behalf of the HFM has enriched the lives of all who patronize the Market . Thank you for your leadership and time. We are a better Market because of you. You will be missed.
