Fall will be bursting out of the market crates tomorrow: gorgeous broccoli, kale, squash and green beans.
Time to start thinking about soups (carrot, parsnip, cabbage) and risotto (mushroom, squash, kale).
Tomorrow, Cowberry Crossing will be paying us a visit with lots of fresh (not frozen) chicken and their organic beef cuts which they are once again discounting by 25-35 percent.
Roaming Angus is now selling lamb...
Also, Bombay Emerald Chutney Co. will be here as will Demetra Bourras of Kontoulis Olive Oil who is now coming twice a month due to popular demand.
The pizza truck is having mechanical difficulties so will not make it up our driveway tomorrow...
They hope to be back next week.
Worry not - Fork and Glass will have crepes filled with seasonal pears (both savory and sweet) and her standout tacos (breakfast, chicken and brisket).
Two young local songbirds in the music tent tomorrow: Ava Leoncavallo will play from around 10 to 11: 15; she will be followed by Ruby Reilly.
